Type of article: Article

Summary

The authors present the designing activity of a mixed team of designers in achieving the thermal comfort throughout an entire year, for a G+3L+A building, having the destination of open space offices and residential flats (the top floor exclusive). This building was built by the rules of a passive house. In consequence, the interior plants were designed using heat pumps, regenerative heat exchangers (between the intake fresh air and the exhaust air or between the intake fresh air and the earth), solar panels and equipment with low energy consumption (fans, pumps). This project is already completed and we have performed measurements in the cold and hot season too. The authors also present the HVAC general plants as well as the results of the thermal behavior throughout almost one year.
