Heat transfer and pressure loss in flow evaporation of R134a.

Summary
A comparison of data collected at p= 500 kilopascals reveals that the convection heat-transfer coefficient during two-phase flow (with no bubble formation) is about 30% greater with R134a than for R12; in flow boiling (with bubble formation) it is about 10% greater. Friction pressure losses of R134a are about 60% higher than for R12.
