Heat transfer in evaporator tubes.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]

Type of article: Article
Summary
The current state of knowledge of enhancement in heat transfer to refrigerant flowing inside horizontal evaporator tubes is reviewed. Examples of the enhanced heat transfer characteristics in spirally grooved, cross-grooved and herringbone tubes are presented not only for pure refrigerant but also for refrigerant mixtures. The mechanism of heat transfer in each enhanced tube is briefly described.
