Author(s) : DUBAND L., RAVEX A., CHAUSSY J.

Summary

ADSORPTION OF HELIUM ON ACTIVATED CHARCOAL HAS BEEN MEASURED IN THE PRESSURE RANGE FROM 1 TO 30 ATMOSPHERES AND IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE FROM 15 TO 70 K. A CLAPEYRON LIKE LAW FOR FICTITIOUS SATURATION VAPOUR PRESSURE IS DEDUCED EXPERIMENTALLY FROM THE MEASUREMENTS. THIS LAW LEADS TO A FAIRLY GOOD GENERALIZED CORRELATION FOR ALL EXPERIMENTAL DATA IN THE FRAMEWORK OF DUBININ THEORY.
