Summary
Calibration of on-farm cold store thermometers and thermostats is discussed. Modifications to the thermometer sensor are proposed so that the thermometer gives an average temperature instead of the very accurate temperature at any given time. Routine setting and monitoring of cold stores are covered with reference to the pulp temperature of the fruits.
