A RANKINE CYCLE WAS OPTIMISED WITH SEVERAL WORKING FLUIDS AND NUMEROUS PROCESS PARAMETERS. ECONOMIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROBLEMS SUCH AS HEAT EXCHANGE SURFACE, SYSTEM PRESSURES AND FLUID MASS-FLOWS WERE ALSO TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT. THE AUTHORS SUGGEST THAT EVAPORATION PRESSURE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 20 BAR AND CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE 343 K (70 DEG C).
