Type of article: Article
Summary
A report on a seminar held in Karlsruhe, Germany. Among the conclusions: small plants have a higher COP with R600a (isobutane) than with R12 and R134a; the COP of a reciprocating compressor in a truck was 14% higher with R600a than with R12; R290 (propane) can be used in refrigerating circuits like those installed in water-heater heat pumps.
