DESCRIBES A STUDY OF INDIVIDUAL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL SYSTEMS IN OPEN PLAN OFFICES. EXAMINES SEVERAL SUPPLY AIR LOCATIONS AND TYPES OF OUTLET. AIR FLOW VELOCITIES ANDAIR TEMPERATURES WERE MEASURED IN THE OCCUPIED ZONE AND IN THE ADJACENT CELLS AT DIFFERENT SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURES AND FLOWS. DEVELOPS A TWO-CELL SIMULATION MODEL FOR THEORETICAL CALCULATIONS. TESTS THE MODEL WITH MEASURED DATA AND USES IT TO CALCULATE NUMEROUS TEST CASES. FINDS GOOD AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MODEL AND MEASURED DATA.
