Influence of the thermophysical properties of refrigerant-oil mixtures on refrigeration components performance.

Summary

The properties considered are: quality of the mixture, concentration, vapour pressure, viscosity, density thermal conductivity and specific heat. Different oils are considered and a initial study describes the behaviour of the refrigerant-oil mixtures on the heat transfer and flow pattern during condensation and pressure drop during expansion in capillary tubes.
