Summary
Lagenaria siceraria fruits (cv. Samrat) were packed in polyethylene bags, corrugated fibreboard (CFB) boxes, wooden boxes, polyethylene bags + CFB boxes, or polyethylene bags + wooden boxes and stored at room temperature or in a low-cost easily constructed cool chamber. Fruits packed in polyethylene bags + CFB boxes and stored in a cool chamber had the longest storage life (28 days).
