Summary
A number of innovations are described: air cycle blast freezing, CO2 freezing, high-pressure freezing and thawing, based on the IIR Conference held in Bristol in March 2001, as well as on some particular developments in cooperation with TNO Research; these innovations open up new perspectives for refrigeration technology and the integration of product and process knowledge.
