Summary
Refrigeration production and application must not remain a privilege of technical training. Production, transport and logistics, trade, inspection, politics and information, meet refrigeration in many aspects in the areas of quality and safety of food, energy and the environment, economy and statistics. Prerequisite or relevant action in these areas is part of the basic knowledge of governing principles. Based on existing training courses, a coherent presentation of the integral domain appears possible, adapted as parts to be incorporated in professional education. Such additions to the conventional courses could improve the communication between staff, line, management and politics.
