Summary

PID CONTROL (PROPORTIONAL, INTEGRAL, DERIVATE) IS NOW AVAILABLE IN INTEGRAL COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEMS. THEY USE MICROPROCESSORS, WHOSE RAPIDITY AND SUITABILITY FOR DIALOG WITH OTHER MICROPROCESSORS INCREASE THE DOMAIN OF APPLICATION: BINARY AUTOMATION TASKS, ENERGY MANAGEMENT, INTERFACING WITH CENTRALISED TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT. THE SYSTEM TO BE INSTALLED WILL BE SELECTED, IN TERMS OF THE PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED, BETWEEN CONFIGURED PRODUCTS, IE DEFINED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND NON-CONFIGURED PRODUCTS, IE DEFINED BY THE USER. THIS SELECTION SHOULD ALLOW FOR THE CAPACITY OF THE SUPPLIER TO PROVIDE AFTER-SALE (STUDIES, PROGRAMMATION, COMMISSIONING). AN EXAMPLE OF OPERATION IS GIVEN, WITH AN AIR TREATMENT BOX. A TRANSFER OF COMPETENCE BETWEEN EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS AND DESIGNERS AND RESEARCH DEPARTMENTS IS OBSERVED. J.L.
