INTENSIFICATION OF CONVECTIVE HEAT EXCHANGE IN THE CHANNELS HAVING TRIANGULAR AND QUADRANGULAR CROSS-SECTIONS WITH TRANSVERSE PROJECTIONS AND GROOVES OF PLATE-FINNED HEAT EXCHANGE SURFACES.

Author(s) : DUBROVSKY JE. V.

Summary

THE AUTHOR REPORTS TEST DATA ON THE EFFECT OF THROTTLING RATIO OF THE HEAT-CARRYING FLOW BETWEEN 0 AND 4.55 ON THE CONVECTION HEAT EXCHANGE OF TRIANGULAR CHANNELS WITH PROJECTIONS AND GROOVES VARYING WITH THE RANGE OF REYNOLDS NUMBERS. HE SHOWS THE CHANGE IN THE THERMOHYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS OF CHANNELS AND THE THERMOHYDRAULIC EFFICIENCY OF CONVECTION HEAT EXCHANGE. THE ANALYSIS OF RESULTS MADE IT POSSIBLE TO DESIGN MORE EFFICIENT FINNED PLATE SURFACES.
