Interaction between Pseudomonas fluorescens and lactic starter Hansen No. 44 in milk at 7 deg C.
Author(s) : JASPE A., FERNANDEZ L., PALACIOS P., SANJOSE C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
No secretion of extracellular proteinase seems to take place when P. fluorescens were grown in mixed cultures with this lactic starter in milk. The stimulation of the growth of Hansen n. 44 and their lactate production could result from the urea degradation of milk by Pseudomonas.
