Summary
In order to fully realize protection of the ozone layer, the Global Environment Department of NEDO weighs development of CFC policy technologies. At the present time, several projects are initiated. Project 1: development of an advanced refrigerant for compressive heat pumps (1990-1994). Project 2: development of new refrigerants and other substances for effective use of energy (1994-2001). Project 3: CFC destruction technology using plasma (1993-1995). Project 4: development of CFC decomposition technology for effective use of energy-combustion method (1995-1998).
