Summary
The effects of nonuniform coil face velocity profiles on refrigerant air cooler heat efficiency are considered analytically and ways to increase their heat efficiency, such as liquid refrigerant recirculation, air velocity profile equalizing, and nonequal refrigerant distribution are investigated. The liquid refrigerant recirculation was found to be the most effective technique.
