INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE THERMAL PROPERTIES OF MOVING TRANSPORT VEHICLES WITH REINFORCED INSULATION.

INVESTIGATION DES QUALITES THERMIQUES DES MOYENS DE TRANSPORT A ISOLATION RENFORCEE EN CONDITIONS DE MOUVEMENT.

Author(s) : VERNIKOV G. I.

Summary

A NEW METHOD HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR THERMAL ENGINEERING TESTING OF VEHICLES, INSULATED AND PASSENGER CARS, TRUCK BODIES, CONTAINERS, ETC. THE METHOD IS BASED ON USING THE LAWS OF REGULAR CONDITIONS FOR HEAT TRANSFER IN THE COURSE OF VEHICLE'S NATURAL COOLING. THREE AREAS HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED FOR APPLICATION OF THE METHOD: THE DETERMINATION OF AVERAGE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT K UNDER STATIC AND DYNAMIC CONDITIONS. SPECIFIC TEST RESULTS ARE DISCUSSED AND COMMENTED ON.
