FROZEN FOOD CONSUMPTION CONTINUED TO CLIMB IN 1982 AND WAS UP 8.4 PERCENT FROM THE YEAR BEFORE. THE UNITED STATES WAS THE LARGEST SINGLE SOURCE OF IMPORTED VEGETABLES HALF OF WHICH WAS FRENCH FRY POTATOES. A TABLE SHOWS THE CONSUMPTION OF FROZEN FOOD IN 1981 AND 1982 WITH THE PERCENTAGE INCREASE IN THE LATTER IN EVERY ITEM EXCEPT FRUIT. C.R.F.
