Laboratory performance of a dynamic ice storage system.
Author(s) : STOVALL T. K., TOMLINSON J. J.
Summary
The ice storage system was tested over a wide range of operating conditions to characterize the ice-generating performance as a function of condensing conditions, ice-building time, and defrosting time. The overall efficiency of ice production was determined, and the effect of refrigeration system component performance on overall system efficiency was evaluated.
