With controlled atmosphere, the main problem is the tightness of the storage spaces where the atmosphere is to be created. The article discusses ways of measuring the tightness of controlled-atmosphere rooms. Following theoretical considerations, the article details measurements carried out on a test rig and on a ship's hold.
