Author(s) : WANG D. W. B., LIN Y. Y., FU J.
Summary
The paper outlines the experience of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company in the use of partial thermal energy storage system in its recently constructed 8-inch water plant. On completion it is projected that the system will achieve mainly to reduce the chiller peak capacity, lower peak power demand, using off-peak electricity rates, and provide emergency cleanroom air-conditioning for five hours.
