Liquid helium-free superconducting magnets and their applications.

Summary

A new superconducting magnet (4.6 T, 38-mm room temperature bore), which consists of a low-critical temperature niobium(3)-tin superconducting magnet and high-critical temperature BSCCO current leads has been working in vacuum for about 7400 hours without trouble.
