Low charge ammonia chillers and heat pump applications in sports facilities.
Author(s) : KRISTENSEN A. P. R.
Summary
Ammonia chillers are widely used for: freezing of ice rinks; heating of ice halls; hot water production; heating of locker rooms; etc. As shown in the examples, the condensing heat is used directly or via the heat pump. In the paper, special attention is given to the ammonia chiller, as the ammonia heat pump will be described in detail in a separate paper given at this conference.
