IT IS FOUND THAT POLYETHYLENE OXIDE-400 (PEO-400) AT A CONCENT RATION OF 5-8% IS AN EFFECTIVE CRYOPROTECTOR FOR LOW TEMPERATURE CONSERVATION OF HYBRIDOMA AND PLASMOCYTOMA CELL LINES. THE USE OF PEO-400 FACILITATES STERILE WORK WITH THE MATERIAL.
