Summary

DUE TO GOVERNMENT MEASURES ON THE ENVIRONMENT, NEW CFC-FREE IN SULATION MATERIALS HAVE TO BE USED. FOR ENSURING AN OPTIMAL UTILIZATION OF ENERGY, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO KNOW THEIR THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY. THE TESTS REQUIRED WERE CARRIED OUT WITH A PROBE WHICH WAS DESIGNED AT THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF DRESDEN ; THIS METHOD IS RAPID AND DOES NOT REQUIRE MUCH EQUIPMENT. MEASUREMENTS SHOW THE RELIABILITY OF THE RESULTS. DATA ARE GIVEN ON THE MATERIAL AGEING. COMPARISONS ARE MADE BETWEEN MATERIALS.
