Summary

FOR REPRESENTING PVTX STATE-SURFACE OF A BINARY REFRIGERANT R12 + R22 SYSTEM, EQUATIONS OF STATE FOR BOTH PURE COMPONENTS IN COMBINATION WITH MIXING RULES FOR THE COEFFICIENTS WERE APPLIED. PROPOSED EQUATIONS WITH NEW MIXING RULES FOR THE SYSTEM OF INTEREST WERE DEVELOPED BASED ON THE MEASUREMENTS FOR SEVEN DIFFERENT COMPOSITIONS. THE DEW-AND BUBBLE-POINT CURVES OF THE PRESENT SYSTEM WERE DETERMINED BY ANALYZING THESE MEASUREMENTS GRAPHICALLY. THE COMPOSITION DEPENDENCE OF THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF DENSITY, ISOBARIC SPECIFIC HEAT CAPACITY, ENTHALPY AND ENTROPY IS DISCUSSED IN DETAIL.
