BUBBLE PRESSURES AND SATURATED LIQUID MOLAR VOLUMES OF R22-FLUOROCHLOROETHANE BINARY MIXTURES: EXPERIMENTAL DATA AND MODELLING.

Author(s) : VALTZ A., LAUGIER S., RICHON D.

Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

BY THE VARIABLE VOLUME CELL METHOD, THE AUTHORS MEASURED BUBBLE PRESSURES AND SATURATED LIQUID MOLAR VOLUMES AT 4 TEMPERATURES FOR SYSTEMS INVOLVING R22 WITH R114, R113 AND R142B. THE EXPERIMENTAL BUBBLE PRESSURES ARE WELL REPRESENTED BY THE PENG-ROBINSON EQUATION OF STATE WITH ONE ADJUSTED INTERACTION PARAMETER. SOAVE AND MATHIAS EQUATIONS GIVE A QUITE SIMILAR REPRESENTATION. SATURATED LIQUID MOLAR VOLUMES CALCULATED FROM THE DIFFERENT EQUATIONS OF STATE, WITH ADJUSTED BINARY INTERACTION PARAMETERS, DO NOT AGREE WELL WITH EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS.
