MEASUREMENTS OF THE VAPOUR-LIQUID COEXISTENCE CURVE IN THE CRITICAL REGION FOR R13B1 WERE MADE BY VISUAL OBSERVATION OF THE DISAPPEARANCE OF THE MENISCUS AT THE VAPOUR-LIQUID INTERFACE WITHIN AN OPTICAL CELL. BASED UPON THE RESULTS, THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE, DENSITY AND PRESSURE WERE DETERMINED TO BE 340.08 K, 764 KG/M3 AND 3.956 MEGAPASCALS. THE CRITICAL EXPONENT WAS DETERMINED TO BE 0.340 AND THE CORRELATION OF THE VAPOUR-LIQUID COEXISTENCE CURVE WAS ESTABLISHED.
