Summary
THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE PROJECT OF A MODULAR COLD STORE PROJECT IN WHICH POTATOES ARE STORED IN BULK. IN ORDER TO DECREASE THE INFLUENCE OF EXTERNAL HEAT GAIN OR LOSS, THE POTATOE PILE IS SEPARATED FROM THE WALLS BY WOODEN PARTITIONS. COOLED AIR AT 274 K (1 DEG C) IS CIRCULATEDIN THIS SPACE DURING SUMMER, AND HEATED DRY AIR AT 277 K (4 DEG C) IS CIRCULATED DURING WINTER. THE RESULTS IS A DECREASE IN LOSSES C. C.
