Summary

THE AUTHORS GIVE A MICROBIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF PLANT PRODUCTS FROZEN AND STORED A LONG TIME IN HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATORS AND FREEZERS. NOT ONLY PRODUCTS, BUT ALSO THE SURFACES OF THE FREEZING COMPARTMENT WERE SUBJECTED TO THE MICROBIOLOGICAL STUDY. THERESULT SHOWS THAT AFTER 10 MONTH STORAGE AT 255 K (-18 DEG C) PLANT PRODUCTS KEPT A GOOD QUALITY AND MET THE PRESENT MICROBIOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS.
