Summary

THE COOLER IS DESIGNED TO MAKE USE OF NATURAL AMBIENT COLD FOR COOLING MILK WITHOUT THE RISK THAT THE COOLING AGENT WILL FREEZE AT EXCESSIVELY LOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURE. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY MAKING THE HEIGHT OF THE SPRAY-COOLER (FITTED IN THE OPEN) VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE TO SHORTEN THE PATH OF THE COOLING AGENT SPRAY THROUGH THE AIR. WHEN AMBIENT COLD IS NOT ADEQUATE THE OPERATION IS SWITCHED OVER TO MECHANICAL REFRIGERATION. THE AIM IS TO SAVE ENERGY DURING COLD PARTS OF THE YEAR. (DAIRY SCI.
