THE COOLER FOR USE IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY AS WELL AS ON FARMS COMPRISES 2 PARTS, IE ONE ACCOMMODATED IN THE BUILDING AND INCORPORATING A REFRIGERATION UNIT, AND ONE FITTED OUTSIDE THE BUILDING ABOVE THE ROOF, MAKING USE OF THE NATURAL COOLING EFFECT OF ATMOSPHERIC AIR. THE MILK MAY BE COOLED EITHER USING THE CIRCUIT OF ARTIFICIAL REFRIGERATION ALONE OR IN COMBINATION WITH THE PART EXPOSED TO THE ATMOSPHERE. THIS EXTERIOR PART HAS A WIND-DIRECTION FLAP AND IS PROVIDED WITH CLOSEABLE SHUTTERS, WHICH ARE AUTOMATICALLY REGULATED ACCORDING TO THE AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE. THE AIM IS TO REDUCE ENERGY REQUIREMENTS BY THE USE OF NATURAL COOLING.
