Mitigation of the global warming impact of fluorocarbons in developing country projects.
Author(s) : GRUNCHARD F.
Summary
A forecast of future HFC needs in developing countries is elaborated in relation to present and future CFC and HCFC consumptions. The global warming impact of HFC effective emissions will amount to 1% or less of total CO2 emissions. Emission reduction proposals, energy and safety issues are also considered, and cost-effectiveness emphasized.
