Summary

Digital results are presented regarding the effects of latent heat transport associated with film evaporation on mixed laminar convective heat and mass transfer with a half-channel, with a semi-channel width of b=0.01 m. The effects of input liquid mass flow rate and wall temperature on film evaporation and the combined heat and mass transport characteristics are examined for air-water and air-ethanol systems to a gas Reynolds number of 2000.
