Summary
The heat transfer solutions for functional clothing design presented include some alternatives to conduction, convection and radiation heat transfer, which should be considered in further development. An analytical solution for one dimensional transient temperature distribution in slabs and cylinders at variable environmental temperatures is given. Heat transfer in compact heat exchangers and micro-channels were also addressed.
