Summary
Italian manufacturers introduced onto the market single CO2 adsorbers, resolving many practical problems encountered with centralised units simplifying the installations, reducing considerably technical service costs and energy consumption. One of them introduced in 1993 a specific ULO project in a cooperative in Trento province. Advantages in applying rapid CA and a new formula (0.9% O2; 1.2% CO2), never used before in commercial rooms, have been shown. They organised panel tests in May 94-95-96 during a technical exhibition. Research institutes scientifically monitored the tests to confirm the positive commercial results.
