New measurements of the specific heats of building materials.
Author(s) : LETHERMAN K. M., ROBINSON P.
Summary
The paper briefly describes the principle of a modern accurate method of determining the specific thermal capacity of materials. The method is known as differential scanning calorimetry. The method was applied to some common building materials. Some results are presented, over the temperature range -10 to 30 deg C, and are compared with published values.
