Summary
More attention has been paid to the selection of new cool-storage media-gas hydrate in thermal storage air conditioning for environmental protection and energy saving. In this paper, the characteristics of ideal gas hydrate cool storage media are analyzed and the selection criteria are presented. The possible media are stated including alkane series, HFCs, water-soluble materials and binary mixtures. Some of these media with application prospect are described. In addition, the suggestion for further research is presented.
