Summary
Numerical simulations are performed on two adsorption systems: zeolite NaX-water and activated carbon AX21-ammonia. The effects of the operating parameters, such as cycle time, permeability and heating temperature, on the COP and the power of cold production are discussed. The temperature wave regenerative heat pump system is compared to the basic adsorptive heat pump process.
