Numerical and experimental analysis of laminar fluid flow and forced convection heat transfer in a grooved duct.
Author(s) : FARHANIEH B., HERMAN C., SUNDEN B.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In a duct with a smooth and a grooved wall (extended surface), the heat and mass transfer characteristics of laminar fluid flow are investigated. The walls are kept at different, uniform temperatures. Calculations and tests are carried out and the results are correlated. The Reynolds and Nusselt numbers intervene.
