Summary

The modules (when used) are positioned in an inlined fashion to simulate the configuration most generally encountered in the circuit boards of electronic components. The investigation was conducted with both laminar and turbulent forced flows for Reynolds numbers ranging from 1,120 to 22,300. The thermal oscillations at different axial stations are periodic variations with approximately the imposed inlet frequency and further characterized with small, but increasing phase lags as downstream distance from the inlet increased.
