Summary

AIR MOVEMENT BY NATURAL OR FORCED CONVECTION WITHIN A SIMPLE ENCLOSURE CAN BE PREDICTED BY MATHEMATICAL MODELS, AND VERIFIED FROM PRACTICAL TESTS. ROOM INNER SURFACES MUST BE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED. VELOCITY MEASUREMENT BY DOPPLER EFFECT, AND VISUAL TRACES BY AEROSOLS. PRELIMINARY RESULTS SHOW THAT THIS METHOD MAY BE OF HELP IN SOLVING AIR MOVEMENT PROBLEMS. A.R.T.
