Summary

Nanofluids technology has been rapidly developing over past two decades. Although a lot of effort have been done to study the effect of nanoparticles on heat transfer process, there are still far too few numerical studies. The existing nanofluids researches mostly use water as basic fluid. In this paper, the performance of LiBr solution with or with no nanoparticle in chevron plate heat exchanger at varying mass flow rate would be studied. By comparing these simulation results, how many the heat transfer performance can be enhanced can be observed intuitively.
