Summary
The authors investigated an air-conditioned railway passenger car. This study employs numerical simulation of airflow organizing inside the car. The simulated calculation results regarding the air temperature field and air velocity field distribution inside the car were obtained where there was heat load inside it. By comparing the results with those of the test, the preliminary analysis of factors that influence the temperature field and velocity field in the car was performed.
