THE NUTRITION LABELLING AND EDUCATION ACT OF 1990 REQUIRES ALM OST ALL FOOD PRODUCTS TO BEAR NUTRITION LABELLING. TO OBTAIN CONSUMER INPUT INTO ANY REVISIONS IN THE NUTRITION LABELLING FORMAT, THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION HAS CONDUCTED A CONSUMER STUDY OF 5 POSSIBLE FORMATS. THE RESULTS ARE GIVEN.
