Summary

This model considers one dimensional periodic unsteady compressible flow in a double inlet orifice type pulse tube refrigerator. The energy flow and entropy generation phenomena are investigated. In addition, treatments of cooling capacity, COP as well as the regenerator second law efficiency are considered versus system’s pressure frequency. In this work, using the evolutionary algorithm such as genetic algorithm, optimal cooling capacity, COP and the second law efficiency are obtained.
