Osmotic parameters of cells from a bioengineered human corneal equivalent and consequences for cryopreservation.
Author(s) : EBERTZ S. L., MCGANN L. E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This study defined the osmotic parameters of bioengineered human corneal constructs. The cryopreservation of these tissues is complex and requires knowledge of their responses at low temperatures. The knowledge acquired in this study will facilitate the development of optimal cooling rates.
