THE AUTHORS SHOW THE POSSIBLE USE OF FORCED AIR CIRCULATION FOR THE TRANSPORT OF ORANGES BETWEEN CUBA AND NORTH EUROPE. THEY ESTABLISH MAPS FOR THE SEA PATHS THE MOST FAVOURABLE FOR TRANSPORT AT EACH TIME OF THE YEAR. THIS TYPE OF TRANSPORT DOES NOT AFFECT FRUIT QUALITY, OVERALL LOSSES (WEIGHT LOSS AND ROTTING), BEING LOWER THAN 8%.
