THE PARAMETRIC METHOD OF THE BOUNDARY LAYER AFTER L.G. LOJTSYANSKIJIS USED FOR STUDYING LAMINAR FLOW AND FOR CALCULATING THE HEAT TRANSFER IN THIN FILMS OF VISCOUS INCOMPRESSIBLE LIQUIDS IN FREE FLOW OVER A VERTICAL SURFACE. INERTIAL FORCES ARE CONSIDERED, CAPILLARY FORCES ARE NEGLECTED. PROPOSAL OF A FORMULA FOR DETERMINING THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT FOR PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS.
